Newsome Achieves SafeHire Certification

We are delighted to announce that Newsome Limited has successfully achieved SafeHire Certification, confirming our ongoing commitment to health and safety, quality, and industry best practice across our operations.

The new SafeHire Certificate (No. 01546) is valid from 15 July 2025 to 14 July 2028, following a successful external audit and on-site verification by Hire Association Europe (HAE) Hire Certification Services. The SafeHire Private Standard is a respected industry benchmark, developed in partnership with the British Standards Institution (BSI) and supported by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). To achieve certification, organisations must demonstrate robust management systems and operational excellence across a wide range of criteria, including:

• Health, safety and welfare
• Environmental and sustainability management
• Quality assurance and document control
• HR and employment law compliance
• Training and competence assurance
• Contractor and supplier management

The assessment process included a full review of our policies, management systems and operational procedures, followed by detailed on-site inspections and staff interviews. The audit verified that our commitment to safety and quality is not only documented but actively embedded throughout our day-to-day operations.

This certification reinforces Newsome’s reputation as a trusted partner for process cooling, air conditioning, and temperature and humidity control solutions. It demonstrates to our customers that we operate to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism — providing confidence that every piece of hire and service equipment leaving our facility meets stringent quality and safety expectations.
